2017 date TBA.
Originally started in 2001 by former Police Chief Gary Morefield, the Downhill Derby provides an opportunity for children to interact with police officers in a positive environment.
The Downhill Derby now has 25 local businesses that sponsor individual cars and the race.
Sixty to eighty kids participate in this fun event, which is open to all third, fourth and fifth grade students at Monmouth-Roseville schools and Immaculate Conception School.
