The Wells Theater is a $1.8 million state-of-the-art theater space, which opened in 1990. It features computerized lighting control, a counterweighted fly system, large scenic and costume studios, a design studio with a CAD system and plotter as well as several Mac computers, and computerized front-of-house operations.  

Crimson Masque, the Monmouth College theatre department’s drama society, involves well over 100 students each year in four faculty-directed productions.
